Hello, I am a nursing informatics student in NJ. I am in the process of planning my 1st practicum rotation, which starts in April 2024. I am having a difficult time finding a preceptor in my area. I have reached out to hospitals and nursing facilities but I have not heard from them as of this date. I contacted my advisor for assistance and she provided me with a contact list of DONs from major facilities but I have yet to receive a response from them. I read in another discussion that I could reach out to healthcare software companies such as Cerner or EPIC but I do not know where to start. Please advise. Thank you.
