CONGRATS TO ALL!! Let the fun begin! LOL ???

Hi everyone! Just out of curiosity, how many of you thought at first when you applied that you were applying to Spring 2024? Did any of you also apply to other places for Spring and got in or I'm the only one who thought this for a long time? LOL I did get into another Spring start program so I would give up my seat if I get accepted to San Diego I just am curious :)) Goodluck to all ?

I wouldn't worry to much about that. I had a friend that didn't get an updated email from Palomar and I did and I didn't get in and she got in as an alternate. Also have them check their junk mail , sometimes these things are alphabetical to

I just got an email from them saying we will find out by the end of this semester, I got into a Spring cohort elsewhere but I'll keep this thread updated as far as if I get any emails!

Yall! Not that anyone is invested in me or MSJC but because I got rejected from Palomar I really thought MSJC was not in the cards for me and I GOT IN! I was the first alternate and got a call asking if I could come in to orientation Monday!! I am in shock! CONGRATS TO ALL who have made it! HOW WAS ORIENTATION FOR YAll?!?

Just thinking, emails might be going out by alphabetical order, my last name starts with a b and so does aprils so maybe that's why some ppl didn't get theirs yet ? Just a thought!

Emails from MSJC don't get sent until December 8th so I'll be sick to my stomach until then!! I'm truly happy for all who get into Palomar! I hope this is a great cohort! ?

All it said was that it was highly competition and I was not selected, congrats!! I'll be the crazy girl that shows up to the orientation in the hopes for a spot still so don't mind me! LOL me and you had about the same pts so I definitely am bumped ?

Do you mind sharing your stats? I just am at such a loss ??

I didn't get in ? I made an advising apt because I don't understand, WORST CASE I had 87 pts best case 94 ,, anyone have updates?!?

Hey everyone! I made a post before, not sure a lot of ppl are seeing it but if there is anyone that has applies to MSJC I want to open up a community for us! December 8th is the new deadline for us to get our acceptance emails and I know I'm not the only one dying! Feel free to vent, share stories, support in any way!

Crossing my fingers! MSJC just extended their deadline to December 8th so hoping Palomar at least gives answers this week without another extension LOL

As a CNA myself I think if SDCC was your go to school then it's worth getting into the LVN to kick start for sure! Putting off a whole other year is just so hard for me to wrap my head around! I have a lot of lvn friends that love it! And you can always do lvn-RN bridges afterwards

I have an application out for Palomars Spring cohort and they are sending emails the 15th -21st! I like that they post their stats! And then the one I'm hoping to get into is MSJC just because it's closer to home! They send out decisions the 15th! So hoping for the best!! I don't want to wait for fall!! I had to take my prerequisites at a slow pace because of work/ having a child so now I'm just dying to get it! LOL I hope I don't have to wait any longer!!

I think it was Spring at some pt! I'm so confused because when I was applying to the school (5 schools) I always read everything so carefully because of all the differences! Is there no Spring cohort then? LOL like they make you apply a year in advance ??? Like what community college even does that! LOL it's a bummer for sure! Hopefully the two I'm waiting on is a yes! I find it weird they are sending out emails the first week of December to say yes to fall!! Like holy time gap!

Shoot! That was not what I thought when I applied! One less school I can count on for Spring now ? I also applied to MSJC and Palomar but both are behind on their application process so I haven't heard anything
