  1. I am getting ready to submit my application, had to take PALS. Has anyone's references been contacted? Do they call or send an email? Just want to let my references know what to expect/look for.
  2. Really ?! Someone posted last week that they called and was told invites wouldn't go out until February. I didn't get one either. I have been checking my email like crazy anyway despite believing invites were not coming until February.
  3. Don't count yourself out! Get your CCRN and submit it! They take supplemental materials until the 21st. Especially after getting your CCRN, your chances of getting an interview are just as good as anyone else. I think everyone applying has struggled somewhere down the road. My biggest problem was working while going to school. I've never really been able to focus on just school so I have been saving like crazy for this so I don't have to stress about money and was trying to get that across in my essay. I do have my CCRN. And yes interviews are hard! My nerves got the best of me in each one. My last interview I thought went well actually but still was rejected. It's good to have an idea of when interviews will be though! I'm going to keep preparing too so hopefully if I get an interview I'll be ready and finally get a yes.
  4. I attended info session last month and while they didn't specify when notifications would happen they did say they were trying to do everything sooner to give those admitted more turn around time before the program starts in May. So hopefully by next month we'll hear something, fingers crossed. I have just under 3 years ICU experience, BSN GPA 3.44, part of my problem is I got a graduate degree in my previous career with a 2.79 GPA but it's old. I've applied to 5 anesthesia programs, had 3 interviews, and of course 0 admissions. Why do you think you won't get an interview?
  5. Submitted my application today, stressing over my essay, had to finally just hit send! Good luck!
  6. On their school of nursing page under the admissions tab go to graduate information sessions. If you click on the full list of information sessions link that is in the middle of that page, it's on the list with a link to click to register. Was not easy to find and I haven't seen it advertised anywhere. I was going to email to ask if there was going to be an info session but luckily I stumbled upon this over the weekend, just in time!
  7. FYI - there is an online information session this Wednesday the 8th at 12:00pm ET. Can get all questions answered at that time. I have a list ready!
  8. Hi! I don't have any info because I'm wondering about some of the same things. I am applying this application cycle and hopefully someone who has been or is in the program will reply. Best wishes!
