Collin College LVN Spring 2024
Hey! It's going great so far! If you want to start working on dosage calculations you can. It also helps to know about nursing care plans, and concept maps. Preparing for how to take vitals-Bp, respiratory rates, pulse etc is really great. Knowing about nursing theories and the history nursing are all things you can Google and will help you to be informed. Congratulations and you've got this ?

A&P help
Hey! It worked for me in A&P2 and AP1 to print off the slides to study. I watched the lecture like I would if I were in person-watching and pausing to take notes in a journal to study. I used quizlets and googled topics such as the different types of blood cells on YouTube and it would pull up khan academy videos (this guys was my favorite-subscribe to his channel-he has alot of great videos) -I watched those as refreshers- to double down on the content.I also read the chapters and watched the lectures in sections because it was alot of information. I also set the timer for about 1-2 hours a day of studying and keep with this strategy. If I was in the car driving-I would recite the information. I retained the information better when I explained. I made an A in AP2 this past semester. You can do it!
