  1. It's funny how long it takes. I interviewed at cedar crest second week of June and found out 8 days later I got in to start a year early, starting next month. Can't believe I'm still waiting from March 28th for Pitt. Probably getting rejected tho ?
  2. Wow, that is brilliant. So happy for all of you. You made it!
  3. Mine was only about 15-20 mins long and was a combo of clinical and background questions, such as why CC, why CRNA, how are you prepared for school, etc. really enjoyed talking with the panel and can't wait to work with the faculty.
  4. Still says complete for me at the moment but just logged into Canvas today.
  5. They called me last Thursday and IT emailed me this Wednesday. On Tuesday, I emailed the NAP secretary and she said that the nursing program will reach out to me with more info. I have a CC email account but no acceptance letter, haha.
  6. Interesting. I got an email on Wednesday from IT about setting up my account for this semester. Did you get that too? I find it strange cause I haven't gotten an acceptance email or letter yet. So I don't know if it's real? I emailed the assistant and she said the nursing program will be directly contacting me for more info....
  7. That's great. Did they say that in the interview? For this or next year?
  8. Yes, last Thursday. Haven't gotten any official documentation other than an email to setup my login information. Wasn't sure if anyone else was in the same boat.
  9. Did anyone get a call about starting in this year's program?
  10. Yup. It's a completely free lot. Should be plenty of spaces. The Hamilton nursing building is right next to the lot.
  11. Yeah, me too. Well, I'll be in the Hamilton building parking lot by 8am if you wanna walk in together LOL!
  12. I just emailed them as well, because I haven't heard anything either....
  13. I am from about 4 hours away from Pittsburgh. Interviewed on March 28th. Have 2 years of pediatric cardiac ICU experience at time of application in a major children's hospital. Prior to becoming a nurse, I did 3 years of academic research at top medical schools with a pub in Nature on addiction and drug seeking behavior. Rodent surgical and anesthesia experience. Biology degree from liberal arts college and nursing degree. 3.99 GPA from UPENN. No charge experience, just resource nurse and preceptor experience. CCRN. A few days of shadowing. Started a journal club. Nothing too out of the ordinary.
  14. Have no idea why that just posted^ but I will jump in and also say that I don't really know how they choose from hundreds of people when we ALL look the same on paper and have fantastic experience.
  15. Someone above me said that Pitt recently said July 1 is their intended date of notification? I interviewed on March 28th and was told in my interview that the top scoring applicants from my interview would know within 3 weeks ????
  16. I'm gonna need them to speed up this process, k thxxxx
  17. Can anyone who interviewed today or interviews tomorrow let us know if the program has an update on when we might hear about decisions? Thank you.
  18. I felt like it was pretty laid back and more EI than clinical. I felt over-prepared and came out feeling like they just truly wanted to get to know me and my background. It was refreshing.
