Just heard back from Memorial Hermann Children's NICU and received a rejection. I am wishing everyone good luck who is still waiting to hear back. If anyone is like me and often looks back at past forums to get information, I heard back for an interview around 3 weeks after I applied, and received my rejection 3 days after my interview. I was an external candidate. I think my nerves truly got the better of me during my interview and ended up stumbling over my answers. My advice for anyone potentially interviewing in the future would be to make sure your answers are not vague, format your answers using STAR method, be genuine in your answers, and make sure you ask several solid questions at the end of your interview!

I'm so sorry!! Was this for Ortho? It seems like they're sending out rejections for several units this morning :(. I'm still waiting to hear back from NICU... I don't think they've sent out rejections or offers yet.

I've been checking so frequently. Mine says the same as yours. I'm unsure if Workday will get updated before we receive an decision email, or if it is the other way around. Yes, I was told I'd hear back next week during my interview. Definitely nerve-wracking though since I'm seeing others say they were told they'd hear back this week! I have no clue if that potentially means they aren't going forward with me. I hope we both hear back with good news soon though.

You're not alone in that feeling! I'm also incredibly anxious waiting to hear back from the unit I interview for. I've been hearing some people mention that they were told they'd hear back by Friday for the NICU, however, I was told I'd hear back by next week so that has me even more anxious.

I had my interview with them this week. I was just wondering if anyone else had interviewed for the unit since I've been hearing mixed answers over when we'd expect to hear back with a decision!

I'm sorry to hear. Sadly, nurse residencies are so, so, so competitive and I've also had a few hospitals where I did not make it to the screening portion. What unit did you apply to? Some units sent out screenings later than others. It took me about two weeks to receive a screening email, while I know others who applied to different units who received theirs in less than 24 hours from the moment of applying. Might also be worth it to check your spam if you haven't already.

Did you have your phone screening call yet? Most units sent out phone screening emails around early to mid September. As for interviews, some units started sending out interview invitations this week and last week.

Hi all! I was wondering if anyone has heard back or received an interview for NICU at BUMC. I read somewhere that they've already hired/filled the positions for BUMC's NICU floor this cohort, but I just wanted to check here first to see if anyone has heard differently.

Good morning! Just wondering, where did you guys receive your eligibility emails? I haven't received anything yet and I'm getting nervous because parchment might have not sent one of my transcripts/TWU didn't mark it as received. I'm scared this might've costed me my application :(.
