  1. Hi, I hope to help, if you are still looking. Try checking out Central Texas College (CTC) in Killeen, Bell county. I graduated here last year. I had a foreign education for high school. Took my HESI twice and passed the second. You have to get enrolled to the school first, so 2.5 GPA is OK for a start, then do the pre-requisites this is where you give your best but nonetheless mine was sitting at 2.5-2.7 I still pursued ADN and sent my application and got accepted to the program. You just have to try and don't be deterred. CTC is accredited by ACEN so it's a game changer. Don't read the reviews of the school because each professor and class has a unique way of teaching and each time is a different experience. Also, you will be in the DHS (department of health & sciences), so the reviews do not really apply. Once you are accepted there's no turning back it's either you make it strong or fall out, the good thing is all of your professors are amazing & will help you succeed especially the Dean of Nursing. It was fun for me and scary all the same time had my fair share of tears and sleepless night but if you are determined you know you got this! Treasure the friendships you'll be making as you will need one another to get through. Teamwork makes the dreamwork! Good luck and enjoy the journey. ?
