Kapiolani Community College (KCC) - ADN Spring 2024
Nursehub subscription. It's 30 a month. I spent about a week on science and another on math. Brushed up very lightly on english to refresh my brain about punctuation and other technical stuff that I don't care for. Took like 2 practice questions on the reading section through them (they have practice exams on there - they are very similar to the TEAS but their science section is not as hard as the TEAS so I would probably look elsewhere for practice questions). I studied for 3 weeks, but I really locked in for the last week and a half. So I basically just spammed tf out of practice questions. I honestly don't think its worth it to study for the english section. It's basically common sense + test taking strategy - so just do practice questions for that section.

bro after I took it I Googled one of the questions and I swear the entire exam popped up lmao. I didn't study for english or reading, and they were my two lowest scores (89 and 84) - I def would have got an exemplary score but I wanted to be lazy and just roll with the punches. My worst habit is just speeding through exams. I 'finished' it in just under two hours, but a good chunk of that time was spent going back and basically retaking it. LOL the adrenaline was realllll I was so stressed

kinda awkward but I've seen people on this thread that are applying to KCC's Spring '25 cohort. I submitted my application last week when I went in to take the TEAS for the first time. I'm nervous that I'm not going to get in because of how insanely competitive the program is. Anyway, here are my stats: 3.88 pre reqs (the only B on my entire transcript is in Statistics smh). It rounds up to 3.9 if you count the A I got in Biochem LOL 4.0 co reqs 90.7 TEAS CNA certification but I'm not licensed and I have no patient care experience at all. When I submitted my application I just attached a photocopy of my CNA certificate, but now I'm thinking that I should've got one of the instructors to write a letter of rec? or maybe not IDK I'm hoping my lack of experience won't set me back too much, but I think my TEAS score puts me in a good spot...
