  1. I got in. Just received an email. But no info about scholarship. Waited for so long, but probably will decline. Good luck everyone!
  2. Nope. Already moved on. They said 8 weeks after Nov 2, but I haven't heard from them. This is a huge red flag for me.
  3. Don't lose hope. I'm declining the offer today. They made me wait for the results, so I am making them wait til the last day to respond. Hope you get in!
  4. Oh yeah, I just realized there is no deposit. I guess the deadline for accepting or declining the offer is fast approaching. I don't have family in Hawaii so that's another thing that scares me. ?
  5. Hello everyone, I want to get your opinion(s). I got accepted to 3 direct entry DNP schools so far--UVM, UMass, and UH. UH is really one of my top choices. However, the tuition scares the heck out of me. I made some calculations and I ended up getting a total of around 250k just for an out of state tuition. Can somebody confirm that an out of state student like me might spend like this ridiculous amount? I will be paying out of state tuition anyway, wherever I go, but I think >250k is a bit unreasonable? I would love to be in Hawaii but this is just too much, especially that scholarships and grants are uncertain. Deadline to pay the deposit is approaching. ?
  6. I probably will not accept the offer because UH is quite more expensive than the other choices I have. Hopefully you can still get a spot. I applied to DNP-AGPCNP.
  7. I chose AGNP! Hoping you hear from them soon. I probably will decline the offer. Just glad that I finally heard from them. Good luck!
  8. I just received the decision letter. I got in.
  9. Where else did you guys apply to?
  10. I can't believe we are still not hearing from MGH. Oh my god!
  11. This is honestly too late for me. I already got an acceptance too from another school, also paid the deposit. I honestly find UH admission process/candidate selection so slow and confusing. There are too many people reaching out to me--graduate division and someone from the nursing program itself--making everything complicated. One of them says one thing, the other says another stuff.
  12. I have not. All I know is that, those who submitted before the first deadline will be considered for scholarships. So far, this is the only acceptance I got, so I guess I will accept and attend.
  13. Congratulations! I did not receive anything yet. What time did you get the email?
  14. I have not. Waited the whole day. LOL. Now getting anxious, but they said they will send letters until the 18th. Guess I should just patiently wait. ?
  15. Did you already receive a confirmation email saying they received your application? If yes, they said that it will take 8 weeks. I applied back in August, but they only confirmed it Nov. 2. They told me to wait 8 weeks.
  16. I did not reach out. I was meaning to reach out today but decided to just wait a little bit longer. Check your spam.
  17. I received an email today just to update the applicants. It just says the admissions team will meet on Dec 14 and they will send decisions on or before Dec 18. Accepted applicants may secure their spot by paying $650 within 10 days. Did you guys receive the email as well?
  18. No I have not. That's a tough decision to make. How much is your second option asking for and when is the deadline? From what I can see in the previous threads and past cohorts, they got their results around the third week of December. I am assuming the admissions team will do the same thing this year. If your deposit deadline is approaching before the third week of December, I'd advise you to contact the admissions team and ask for information since you just want to get an idea about the timeline as you are considering other schools.
