  1. Yeah I figured it'd be better to apply to as much schools as possible and go wherever I get accepted instead of waiting around. It'll be worth it wherever I go ?
  2. Rio Hondo and Santa Ana College in SoCal. Just wanted to give ARC a try even though it's lottery since it's closer to home. Already knew I wouldn't get in tho
  3. Just received my denial, but was expecting it since it's lottery. I was able to get into two other schools tho so I'll be going to either one of them. Congrats to those that got in!
  4. Has anyone received a follow up email for further instructions from SAC yet?
  5. Congrats to you too! I haven't received an email from Pasadena either but that's okay. Was kind of expecting it.
  6. I did not apply there. But wishing those of you that did the best of luck!
  7. I got into Rio Hondo and Santa Ana College!
  8. It's already been about 12 weeks, which is crazy. Honestly at this point I've already been accepted to two other schools and will be attending either one of them. Good luck to those who are still waiting to hear back!
  9. Does anyone know if the textbooks are only used for this semester or will it be used throughout the program?
  10. Thank you for the feedback! SAC is the second nursing program I've heard back from so I'm debating which school I want to enroll into. I saw that they are ACEN accredited so it makes them a strong contender for me.
  11. For those of you that have gone through Santa Ana's nursing program, can you give any insight on what it's like?
  12. Hi guys. Santa Ana has started sending out acceptance emails!
  13. I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) about that too and she said it should be fine if the effective date is right before the start of the semester.
  14. I think they'll email you at the email your provided for them on the application.
  15. I'm pretty sure it's included with the package - background check, drug test, and medical document manager.
  16. Does anyone have any idea of whether the orientation will be online or in-person and when it most likely will happen?
  17. My science and overall GPA are 3.67 and my TEAS score is 80.7.
  18. I believe we are on the 9th week. I have not heard anything yet though
  19. Does anyone know what this might mean? It's at the bottom of the RH nursing website. I just don't want anything to jeopardize the nursing program while we're in the middle of the program. ?
  20. I did, also worried I wasn't going to get in anywhere. However, RH was the first to send out acceptances, so I'll probably just stick with it because I'm actually from out of LA and will have to start making arrangements to move into the city very soon. I'm so excited!
  21. According to the California BRN, it looks like they enroll 80 students annually, so probably around 40 students each semester. I'm not sure about how alternates are chosen. RH doesn't provide much info on that. But seeing that they have a point system, I'm assuming alternates may be chosen based on who has the next highest points.
  22. The email title should be "Rio Hondo College Nursing Program"
  23. Hey guys! Check your email. I just got an acceptance! ?
  24. Looking at previous threads, it looks like the typical range of points that gets accepted was between 86.5 - 103. It can vary each application cycle.
  25. Haven't heard anything yet. Hoping we'll hear something around late-October.
