For those who are already in the program are any of you working while completing the program? If so is it manageable? I know a lot of nursing schools either say working while in the program is not allowed or try to discourage it, but I have no other choice besides continuing to work so I was curious if anyone else was doing the same and how difficult it is to manage and navigate it.

Hi, my GPA was around a 3.4 but I had extenuating circumstances contributing to my GPA not being as high as it should've been that I discussed in my essay which probably helped. I also had over 500 hours volunteering in hospitals, and experience working in hospitals. As well as licenses such as EMT license, and phlebotomy license which probably helped with my acceptance.

Hi, I think the background just needs to be a plain, neutral color like a white or tan. I do not believe you need to get it done at walgreens or anything as long as it is able to look mostly professional and someone else takes it for you so it is not a selfie or something and is done in a place with decent lighting.

Hi quick question for people who have already started the program: are all of your clinicals in the clinical simulation center or do you still get to have real clinicals in the local hospitals with real patients? I am a little bit concerned because I can not find anything about it and everything I have seen seems to imply all the clinicals are in the simulation center and would prefer to choose a program that includes real clinicals in actual hospitals.

With the masters degree you are eligible to teach nursing classes at like a community college if you wanted to which you can't do with a BSN. It also makes you more eligible to go into like administrative stuff. As for pay starting out it is pretty much the same but I think later on you're eligible for higher pay once you have experience.

I don't know the exact cost for the nursing program specifically but when I looked online at the graduate school costs it was about $12k for out of state per semester or $3400 for in state per semester. As for how long the program is its 48 units so taking 12 units per semester would be a two year program.
