  1. Surgical/Medical Missions to Africa

    Hey guys! I am very much interested in expanding my medical missions travels into Africa. It's something that I've dreamed of since I was a wee child and the main reason I went to nursing school. I've been with a surgical team traveling to Guatemala last couple of years, and will continue to do so, but I want to do more missions. Does anyone have any leads or connections to organizations or team leaders that they're willing to share? I've applied with some of the more general ones (IMR, OWS, etc.), and haven't gotten any word. I have experience in the operating room and pediatric ICU. I've looked through some threads on this topic, but they're several years old and most have been closed to further communication. Thanks in advance!
