  6. since I was waitlisted for fall this is the letter I got last week for the Spring , so far onlt 3 ppl are in for Spring so only 45 spots left. They are making us do a lot of stuff done and it's really confusing. Also ppl who started last week for fall already have an exam on week 2. Congratulations! On behalf of the President, faculty and staff, I am pleased to offer you admission to the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Samuel Merritt University. At Samuel Merritt University, we seek students who believe that the quality of healthcare matters—who also believe that they can make a difference in the world around them by becoming highly skilled and caring healthcare providers. We believe that you embody those characteristics and we would like you to join us. To accept or decline this offer of admission, submit your Letter of Intent. During that process, you will be directed to SMU Records and Finance (SMURF) to pay your $350.00 non-refundable tuition deposit by credit card. You must use your SMU credentials to access SMURF. Your SMU credentials will be sent to you from "SMU Technology Services"as the sender account. Make sure to also check your spam folder to locate this email. There will not be a balance due indicated for your deposit. You may simply manually enter your deposit amount and program start term to submit your payment. The Letter of Intent and tuition deposit is due by 9/12/23. Once you have submitted your deposit, you will receive additional information to guide you through the enrollment process. 7. Hi everyone ! I was a provisional admit for fall but no one dropped so I got into Spring 2024 & so far only 3 ppl who has this admit have access to everything for Spring was wondering if anyone got an email saying they are admitted yet for sac ? so far it's a lot of log ins we have but if u are admitted you have to get our CPR done, physical, flu shot, Covid shots ( some hospitals require the booster )
  8. @summersquash hi IDK if your even in the program but it's a lot of stuff especially when u have to pay every thing out of pocket just the CPR is 120. And it's not like I can just pay and do everything cuz provisional admits don't get access to the same emails the people who are in get like what to buy etc I heard those things from my friend who's in. Thanks for your comment ?
  9. Hi I had sac orientation last week it was a lot of things we need to get done before starting I am also a provisional admit and it's pretty upsetting because I want to start in august but I am 3rd on waitlist so I need 3 ppl to drop or I'm gonna have to start in January which sucks cuz I applied for fall not January. I think I got provisional as well because I had taken classes over Summer ?. We got a tou of campus and it was exciting but misleading since I am not even in for fall yet just hoping those 3 people drop and the counselor told me usually people drop 3-5 per semester before it starts. Also if I get in last min I am going to be very back tracked cuz we have to do so much crap before starting like enrolling into clsses, getting your scrubs, shoes, physical examination by doc fill out papers, vaccines, CPR, buy two different programs, buy your books, and also find a loaner which u has to be thru a private loaner etc ? @aspiringnurse02
  10. @Chocolatecake112 yes I got an email on 6/22, orientation was this past Thursday and Friday
  11. @Shee Vang orientation is tmrw & Friday 9-12
  12. @Futurenurse39 I applied for sac but someone I know was waitlisted at San Mateo and they got in about 3 weeks ago
  13. @Futurenurse39 hi last thing I heard was the first 10 people on the waitlist got into the program. I was 6 out of 20 on the waitlist and got in like 2 weeks ago. Did you get an email saying you were on the waitlist?
  14. Are any of u guy's attending the in person orientation next week ? For the sac campus fall 2023?
  15. My email said this This is an offer of provisional admission to Sacramento's Fall 2023 ABSN cohort. Please read the following options carefully before making your selection. Option #1: I accept the offer of provisional admission and agree to attend orientation on August 3rd and 4th. If I am not admitted for Fall 2023 Sacramento after attending new student orientation, I understand I will be guaranteed admission to Sacramento's Spring 2024 ABSN cohort. OR Option #2: I decline the offer of provisional admission and understand my application(s) will continue in the admission process with no guarantee of admission.
  16. I got a provisional email what does this mean? It says to join the orientation
  17. That means we have 7 weeks until they keep letting people in. I hope that many of those that got in can choose another school if they got accepted into more than one ? this is my second school applying and I got waitlisted too ☹️☹️ and this school works out the best for me since it's 1yr and I live 2 minutes down the street @aspiringnurse02 I hate how we can't even call the school to ask more information because they don't even answer
  18. Sadly no @aspiringnurse02 does anyone know when classes start? ( Sacramento campus )
  19. @Littlelizzie hey! I applied for the SMU Sacramento ABSN for fall 2023 and I was put number 6 on the waitlist , do you think maybe I have a chance to get in?
  20. @Veronica P did you get into the fall 2023? And I am not sure if Summer is open but the deadline is December
  21. @Geline Do u have any idea how many people have gotten in and if they plan to let more students in? I am 6th on the waitlist ☹️ @tmbradley were you 5th on the waitlist for the sac fall 2023?? And you got accepted yesterday?? @tmbradley if that's the case then that would make me number 1 on the waitlist for sac right ?
  22. @Geline Do u have any idea how many people have gotten in and if they plan to let more students in? I am 6th on the waitlist ☹️
