I got an offer for MST this morning.

I tried to make my resume fit into one page, I did 0.5 inch margin 11 font. I included my clinical hours for each unit, hospitals that I did clinical at, and which semesters I completed the rotations. I also totaled the hours. I try to include keywords like "bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)” just in case they put my resume through their system and they would only pick up on the "BSN" I also include things like "CCNE accredited" for my school for the same reason as well.

I just got a call for interview tomorrow for MST! So soon...

The email is out. I got in!

Nope. I think it's sometime this week because it is now week 3. But my friend that got in for fall 2023 said they got the email later than what they were told. So IDK.

I did get an email this time. I think my rejection letter came out around the same time they send out acceptance letters.

Yeah, I applied last fall n didn't get an invite bc my score then was too low n then got a rejection letter later.

I'm not so sure but According to previous semesters, it was send out all at the same time. I don't think they have enough time to send out another batch bc on Monday they're sending us our assigned time slot.

Ooh I'm not so sure, I think you would have to email them about it just to be safe. I would think you'll still be able to resubmit a different score.

I'd say you have a pretty good chance! Spring is less competitive; however, it's still unpredictable.

On the website it said it's gonna be available on aug 1. I heard they've been behind on stuff with the upcoming fall cohort too.

Does the nursing supplemental application from the SON show up for anyone yet. It said it's supposed to be open on august 1st

U can apply for fall 2024 since you'll be done with your prereqs at the end of fall 2023. You'll have like a gap semester in Spring 2024. You get 2 tries to apply to the program tho.

You'll have to wait to apply for fall 2024 because all prerequisite courses that are in progress will be consider as a C grade.

Unfortunately, no. You can get an extra point if you were in the military, but other than that, it's just grades. I heard that the program is planning to change the admission process since they had a new director last year, but IDK what the change entails or when it will be effective.

Science and the ge foundation are counted separately. Science GPA is solely chem, Microbiology, anatomy, and physiology. I got a b in micro and when I calculate the GPA for just these 4 classes together, it turn out to be 3.76. The Ge foundation classes that they are taking into consideration for the application are oral comm, written comm, critical thinking, and stats. I had all A's in those classes and ap credit for written comm so my GPA for ge would 4.0. They don't look at your other ge classes like ethnic studies or humanities stuff.

I bought the mometrix book and the smart edition course. I thought the smart edition really helped me with English and science while mometrix helped me with reading. I also used YouTube, I watched nurse cheung, Professor yu, and Carolyn McAllister.

Hi! I'm also applying for Spring. I got rejected for fall bc my impaction score at the time was only 9.2 ? but my current stat is: science GPA: 3.76, ge GPA: 4.0, TEAS overall: 96.7, TEAS reading: 94.9, impaction score: 9.592
