  1. Hey nurses / nursing students! This thread is for all of us applying to Stanford Nurse Residency Cohort 42. We're all in the same boat—working through the application process and waiting for updates. Let's come together to vent, share, and support each other as we go through this journey! Feel free to share: Where you're at in the application process ? Any questions or concerns you have ? Updates you hear from Stanford ? Anything else you want to talk about related to the cohort! Let's keep each other motivated and informed! ?
  2. Hi Alsamiri! I don't think anyone on this thread has applied for the BSN rather we all applied for the ABSN Program. I would call the admissions office and see whether or not they have released any information regarding the BSN program. Those who have been accepted or wait listed for the ABSN were notified on Sept. 8th. It won't be the same for the BSN. Hope that you get accepted into the BSN program!
  3. I'm sure it played a role in my acceptance into the program. When I spoke with (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) (San Mateo admissions counselor) he said our applications are similar to resumes. So I would say it's definitely a plus to have experience listed in your application. San Mateo Cohort if you haven't joined the San Mateo FB page, here is the link again! https://m.facebook.com/groups/841566224158742/?ref=share&mibextid=NSMWBT
  4. Hello SFP (San Mateo) Cohort!! Here is the FB link for us ? https://www.facebook.com/groups/841566224158742/?ref=share_group_link
  5. I just received a call from IT Support. I now have access to mySMU aka SMU okta. I recommend that if you havent received your activation email, give IT support a call and click option 1. They will help you get access.
  6. I was having trouble with this as well. I contacted them earlier and they said they will give me a call about it tomorrow. Something about information not being in my account or whatever. But yeah no activation email has been sent to me either.
  7. Hi all! I got accepted into San Mateo! Congrats to those who also got accepted! ?
  8. I haven't received a second email. What did yours say? Also I applied for San Mateo only.
  9. Hello everyone! I also received an email saying they have received my application. I spoke to the San Mateo counselor during the Nursing Success Seminar held on June 30th that we will most likely receive acceptance letters or rejection letters sometime early-mid October. Hope you all get accepted!
