    Hello, I understand that California is considered a non-compact state with the Nurse Licensure Compact. I have also learned that when a nurse changes their primary state of residence (PSOR) to California, the multi-state nursing license turns into a single-state license. My question is, does a nurse need to change their PSOR to become qualified for a CA license? Can I simply add CA so I can still keep my multi-state license? Please help!
