My status just changed to accepted today for TWU. I will be declining my acceptance as previously mentioned but just wanted to update you guys!

I think I'll be pulling my application guys. Got my acceptance letter for the DNP program I applied for yesterday! Good luck to everyone!?

I wonder if anyone got an email stating they are no longer being considered? Seems unnecessary to send everyone a thank you email. Plus it scared the crap out of me LOL

Hey, just received a follow up email about my interview stating the following: "This email serves to let you know that your interview was positive." and goes on to say I'll receive a formal decision in the coming weeks. Is this a standard auto email they send out to everyone who interviews or did anyone get something different?

Just finished my interview. I was so nervous, but I think it went well! She said I should hear back in 2-3 weeks so now we wait??

I think they're saying they originally applied for Summer 2023, but then their application was pushed back twice to Fall 2023 and once more to Spring 2024. So they applied April 2023 and just heard back a few days ago that they were accepted for Spring 2024. That's almost a 7 month wait and a full year turnaround before actually starting the program! I hope they don't do that to us. How many applicants from previous semesters do they have to contact before getting to us? It's like they're back logged on applications. If that's the case they should just close admissions for a semester to catch up.

I'm also curious, when did you hear back regarding acceptance for TWU Spring semester?

When I spoke to my counselor on 9/22 they hadn't even finalized decisions yet. Maybe some people started getting them last week and they're just not on this thread? But even still that's cutting it very close to registration. The lack of organization does make me a little nervous.

Ahh I see, I misunderstood. It makes no sense they asked you to move your start date twice! But thank you for the insight regarding your interview! Fingers crossed I get in!??

Wait, you applied in April 2022?? A 7 month wait is a bit ridiculous. But congrats on getting into the DNP program! Can I ask what the interview was like? Clinical questions or more "Tell me about a time when..." questions?

Thank you! I'm nervous but excited? But yes the program starts mid-January and according to TWU's academic calendar, registration for grad school students opens October 31st for the Spring semester. So they're cutting it pretty close.

None. I actually got an invite to interview for the DNP program I applied for and interview next week so I guess we'll see how that goes. Wasn't even confident I'd qualify for a doctorate program so TWU was my top choice but not so sure now?

Was able to move my interview up. 2 weeks is too long, I would've been anxious the whole time LOL I interview next week.

OMG...you are seriously a life saver. Apparently my invitation to interview has been sitting in my inbox for almost a MONTH? I was overseas at the time and was not checking my email due to connection issues then it just got buried. If you hadn't posted this I wouldn't have thought to search my inbox for an update. I've been checking online daily and my status never changed! I interview in 2 weeks. Thank you again!

Updates! Because I am relentless I did email the admissions department *again* and my advisor called me today at lunch. They are in the process of choosing the last few applicants and then will send all admission decisions for approval. He did not know if they're releasing all the decisions at once or in waves but we should start hearing back any day now! I'm guessing 1st week in October at the latest,
