Anyone heard from TCH- Woodlands ER? I interviewed on 3/25. Application portal still shows "under consideration"! Also anyone heard from St Luke's other than the survey?

Has anyone gotten a call or email from HCA? I applied to the residency for Conroe, Tomball & Kingwood on 3/14. The position/app was only open for like 24 hrs.

It is a pdf format. I have tried from multiple devices and multiple networks.

When I try to upload my resume and mission statement to the TCH portal, I get an error message "Something went wrong. Try again later." Anyone have this issue? I have emailed the nursing residency contact email but have not heard back.

GPA question Has anyone received a residency offer but has below a 3.0 GPA? The 3.0 GPA that most require is that from nursing school only or total GPA for the entire degree?

Has anyone accepted admit to one or more programs while waiting to hear from your 1st choice? My cousin is currently in that situation. She has accepted admit to 2 programs (weighing all options) and waiting to hear back from 1st choice which should be around Nov 15th.

For those of you that have been accepted. Have you received your class schedule/clinicals for the fall? I just got accepted for Spring 2024 and I am curious if classes are every day on campus or if there are certain days that are clinicals for the first semester. I am trying to determine whether to accept my admission and if so whether to commute or try to find an apartment. Thanks

Does anyone know a typical class schedule for the first semester? Like are classes on certain days on campus and then other days are clinicals? I did see somewhere that clincals could be in the medical center. I am just trying to figure out commute vs apartment before I accept my admission.

I just received my acceptance letter! Wow!

Well I guess that is good news and bad news. Good news that it appears we are still "active" applicants. Bad news for more waiting. Just wondering if there is any rhyme or reason to those who have already received their acceptance,

So do we think that mystar is completely updated with those who are accepted? My account is still showing Active and Complete. Will there be another wave of acceptance updates on mystar this week?

What do you mean? When I log in it still shows "completed"...... what does yours show?

I'm hoping we hear back soon. Being in limbo is crazy. And with other nursing schools having different deadlines and acceptance dates, it makes it hard to navigate the future.

Now with the 2nd deadline passed, hopefully the decision will happen quickly. And hopefully they do not extend it again. Being in limbo and waiting to know the path of your future is agonizing.

Yeah its frustrating that they extended the deadline. Looking at other threads it seems to be common, What is the most frustrating is that by pushing the deadline back then the decision is also pushed back.

The waiting is agonizing. Especially with UTMB pushing the application deadline back an entire month! Ugh! I wonder if UTMB did not receive as many applications as they had hoped for. It is also frustrating how nursing school application dates are all over the place and not more streamlined so that you can make informed decisions. Also the prereqs are not always streamlined resulting in having to take courses you might not necessarily need. Wishing all of us the best of luck and a decision as soon as possible!

I received an email and completed my Supplemental App with UTMB. The email stated I would then receive several emails on how to access the MySTAR Portal. Has anyone received the info on the portal yet?

Did the application deadline get extended? I saw on the website it is now July 1st. That makes me think that admission notifications will be pushed back.

That soon? I figured it would be late August.
