  1. Hello! I did my first aid at St Johns Ambulance. It was the Standard First Aid Course with CPR/BLS (HealthCare Provider). I'm not sure about other places but the one I did included everything needed for the First Aid requirement. I've included the link for the course I did! https://sja.ca/en/first-aid-training/standard-first-aid-CPR-BLS?
  2. Just wondering, does anyone know how long will it take for the CRC to get processed? Or has anyone have any update on whether the school has received their CRC and how long it took? I did a manual CRC form so the school submitted mines to the ministry on Aug 29. They said its a 15-20 business day wait for the ministry to contact me about payment but I haven't heard anything since then ?
  3. No, they got it done by their family doctor I believe. But if your still looking for a walk-in clinic, Station Square Medical Center right beside Metrotown is a walk-in office. Also, by any chance do you know how long the CRC will take to process?
  4. I think we're in the same situation? But I've only received my email about CRC and not immunization stuff. I feel you though, I've like triple checked my portal and it says 'Applicant Accepted' so I think its okay ? Do you have a BC Service Card? I think you can check your recent immunizations there through the app as well? If I'm not wrong tho, since I remember one of my friends who got into a nursing program at VCC do it like that
  5. Yay congrats!! My GPA is 3.53, I was super nervous that I wouldn't be able to get in haha
  6. I just got accepted into the program!! Langara sent out admissions if you log into your student account
  7. Looking from past threads of the Spring and Fall intake, I'd say 3.8 has a pretty good chance of getting in! ? Also, I've heard that the Spring intake is less competitive? and coming from the Langara website, the average GPA for Spring 2023 was 3.6, so 3.8 is pretty high ?
  8. Since applications for the next intake has now closed, this would be a good time to start a forum for the next BSN Students for Spring 2024 at Langara! If there are any questions, comments, concerns feel free to post a comment below! I wish us all good luck for the next intake!
