  1. Wondering if anyone has gone through the RN-BSN program at GCU?? My end goal is MSN for teaching but I know that in order to get to MSN you should go to a good/accredited BSN program. Unless I should look into the RN-BSN program at the school that I want to do my MSN at but they require in person clinicals. (CSUFullerton) I just don't want to do in person clinicals if I don't even get paid more for my BSN, completing my BSN is just a stepping stone to get to MSN. Thanks!
  2. I just started taking patients on my own and I wanted to know how to keep motivated as a new grad. Every time I am doing something new I get attitude or a grunt from preceptors because I don't know what to do or I ask them to talk me through it. If we are late on meds because the preceptor has to stop & help me they let it be known that it is my fault.... I feel super discouraged and unmotivated.... I don't know if I should ask to switch preceptors?
  3. Looking for an EKG Strip Interpretation Course! Southern CA based, or online! My hospital doesn't offer EKG courses and I'm on a tele floor so I definitely need to be good at reading strips. Thanks!
  4. Thank you! I am looking for in hospital custody unit! ?
  5. Looking for some feedback on working on a Custody unit, thanks!
  6. Has anyone heard anything yet? My application still says "referred to hiring department"
  7. Me either, and I applied to ER, med surg, tele, oncology both nights and days for each
  8. Not everyone qualifies for even the video interview, that's how UCSD does it as well but did you get it??
  9. Making this thread to get some info on experiences working at Alvarado Hospital! They said 4 weeks of orientation which feels like a little bit to me!
  10. Has anyone heard anything back after completing your interview? I know they said they'd get back to you by June 2nd.
  11. Anyone applying to the residency program at Palomar?? Online it says they would post the listings today, May 23rd but I haven't seen anything yet?
