What NJ school did you go to? Does it still have an accreditation?

To be fair we're actively living it. I know people whose license are renewed who went to west palm beach and Sienna and they are working in ny. I know someone who went to Sienna handed in her RN NY license has an unencumbered FL RN license and can not get hired with her LPN license which is also unencumbered because employers see she handed in her NY license (which doesn't have any fraud or judgment on her NY license). So things are not really going according to plan in my opinion because people aren't handing in their licenses and they are getting renewed licenses and are working while those who complied are unable to work on their unencumbered licenses.

It's a case by case basis that's why they are reviewing the school they have to see why it closed. Try endorsing to another state. NY is only dealing with schools who are accredited and I operational present day

It's under review because the school is closed down what don't you understand? NY is only granting licenses to people who went to accredited schools that are currently OPEN

Have JC send your course work including clinicals and official transcripts to NYBON...that's what they mean by course work from an accredited program

I'm an RN who is Having difficulty getting hired at a NJ hospital because I went to Carleen Health Institute in Florida. There's no hit on my license it's unencumbered but the hospitals won't hire me they keep rescinding their offer. Is anyone else having difficulty finding employment?

You guys are in a rush to be licensed talking about suing and the school you went to is under investigation won't benefit you because the employer won't hire you because of the school you went to even though there is no fraud or any type of disciplinary action on your license. I was offered a job at a hospital and they rescinded the offer because I went to Carleen this has happened multiple times.

You're regurgitating garbage. The person telling you they didn't go the Florida route is lying to you. The only way you can sit for the NCLEX is by a school sending your information to a board of nursing. If Jersey College did not send their information to a State Board of nursing so they can sit for the NCLEX what college did? You also can not work without a diploma/transcript so if Jersey College didn't give them their diploma because they didn't pass the exit exam how are they proving their educational credentials? I feel like someone can sell you air and you don't need supplemental oxygen you're very naive and gullible.

Some people are getting contacted by the Fl BON to hand in their license and others aren't. It doesn't matter if you got a BSN your original school that allowed you to sit for your NCLEX is the issue. Currently NY is allowing people to go back to school that they approve of and start over if you want to be licensed in NY BON. Essentially there's no update I don't even know if FL BON is allowing people to go back to school and start over too. I don't know the outcome of people who got their licenses annulled/revoked with "fraud" discipline what's the course of action do they get to start over or they can't ever be licensed again as a nurse?

When I called Florida BON April 2023 they said if NY is not accepting your license because of your school you can go to a school they are accepting do your RN over and NCSBN will override the system that you can sit for your NCLEX. NYBON & NCSBN will communicate to each other and allow you to sit for the NCLEX. I saw someone say NYBON told them you don't have to retake the NCLEX you just have to complete a new nursing program that they are accepting but on the NYBON website it states you have to submit education that allowed you to sit for NCLEX.
