My clinical rotation is day shift

I have my critical care rotations at the location and I was placed on that unit three weeks out of seven so I went up to the unit manager and spoke with her, gave her my resume and stated my interest in working on the unit as a new grad. I basically kept in contact with them and had an interview last week with the unit manager, charge nurse and another nurse that was my preceptor my first day on the unit. I was informed that it was going to be competitive since they had only one spot available for a new grad on days.
