For those who have accepted offers, would having a forum or group to communicate about next steps and the omboarding process be useful? Someone from AllNurses replied several posts back to suggest a fb group or a forum here if someone has a premium account. Would folks be interested in something like that? It looks like some past cohorts have fb groups.

It should be in your offer letter. If it isn't, call back to talent acquisition and ask them ?

For what it's worth, I'm guessing they aren't sending out final notices until at least people who were offered positions today have the chance to accept over the weekend. I think they are leaving open the door to offers until absolutely every spot is filled. I'm sorry for the restless week and weekend though ? I hope everyone still waiting can get a good walk and some fun social time this weekend ?

Congrats to those who got offers and I'm sending positive energy to those still waiting! Remember that only the first round of offers is trickling out--and it's possible that it isn't neccesarily unit by unit but just the order that Talent Aquisition happens to be calling people. If you see people getting offers from your top choice unit I truly don't think that means you're out of the running! I'm sorry that people are still in the anxious waiting game though ? Second, for those who have already gotten offers did you happen to ask when we would get more information about next steps? Like when we will get the portal to submit vaccines, drug test, physical to, etc.? I forgot to ask and I wanna know the requirements so I can plan my health care and such accordingly. If anyone knows or learns of a timeline please let me know! Thank you!

Congrats! I haven't seen anyone comment about NICUU yet but I'm pretty sure you'll only get one offer--thats why they have us rank our unit choices in our application. The people in HR are lovely though and could definitely clarify that if you wanted to give them a call:)

Hey again folks! First, I just heard back from CTICU with an offer! Second, I had just received a rejection email right beforehand! Sounds like some rejection emails accidentally went out (which is unfortunately pretty easy to do in hiring portals ?). So - again - you've got this!

Hey Daisy! So I got an offer last cycle (but the BRN was taking *forever* to transfer my out of state license so I had to turn it down and reapply ?) and I can say that after they call you the portal will show an offer in a different section on the same page of the portal. My submission status actually changed to "reviewed, not selected" ? but I don't think they allow those changes to show until after they give you the congratulatory phone call! I'll add that I think the people who are proactive enough to be checking forums constantly are probably also those who would have a good chance at getting their dream positions. Keep those chins up, team!

7 of us online refreshing the page for updates ? this is worse than waiting for my NCLEX results.

FYI I talked to a recruiter last week who said decisions may not be out until mid to late week next week. If you don't hear back on Monday keep those fingers crossed ? Has anyone had an offer yet? I'm not sure if all units are the same timeline. In previous cycles they don't seem to be.

Did anyone else interview for CTICU last week? They said we'd hear mid-this week - I'm curious if anyone has heard yet. Also congrats to everyone on getting this far! Whether you submitted an app, had an interview, got a second, etc these are all big steps and you should definitely feel proud of yourself!

Same. I think that might be the day you advanced to interview. Under review means you haven't been accepted or excluded yet--essentially a non-update. If they update us it will be via phone call I think!

The unit I interviewed for said they would be getting back to us next week. Where did you hear Sept 11?

I only got a 2nd interview for one of the units I applied to, too. I think it's safe to say each unit is sending their invites to everyone they're inviting to interview at roughly the same time. So like each unit is on a slightly different timeline but from what I've seen interviews for the unit are all going out the same day or within 2 days. It is possible but rare (based on previous board posts) to get 2 unit interviews. That said, I think it's also possible that if they don't find the right fit in the first batch they interview that they could come back and cast a wider net!

No definitely not. I reminded them that I'm out of state and they offered me a virtual option!

Early last week. I believe PICU and CVICU are giving offers this week with a hard deadline of offers given by mid next week. I know this week is a stressful one as we're all awaiting important career information - hang in there! Take walks, drink water, etc etc etc. It feels a lot like when I was waiting for my NCLEX score ?

Obviously I'm not glad we're all in the waiting game boat but it is somewhat relieving that we're all in it together ?

I heard that interviews will start next week and I haven't seen a forum post about this cohort yet! Has anyone heard back to schedule interviews?

It was a week or two ago, yeah. But I wouldn't be surprised if they kept sending some. I think first round of interviews are next week but Rady overall is interviewing until August 14th so there might be room for a few more invites if not enough people impress them in the first set of interviews?
