  1. hello everyone ! I hope you all are having a relaxing Summer! I was recently accepted into MJC's ADN program starting in the fall and had a question about FAFSA. if anyone in here could help me out I would greatly appreciate it thank you! :)))
  2. I don't think so yet I'm hoping maybe tomorrow because last years they said late June but the results ended up being posted June 1st! I talked to one of the program directors and they said results should be out late June so hopefully tomorrow ??????
  3. This was about my stats.....????
  4. I took the TEAS 7 in December of 22. That's really helpful thank you! I've been thinking about that I was trying to see if I could avoid re taking it but that's just not possible if I want to get in anytime soon. I'm a horrible test taker and knowing it's my last chance gives me a bunch of anxiety but gotta do what you gotta do
  5. On my first round applying I have a bachelors degree already in health science/public health, science GPA 3.7, non science 4.0 (or 3.6 depending if they count chem and math), I have 2 years experience as a CNA, first attempt TEAS was a 75, and I only have one science re-take that happened during covid that most of the programs haven't counted as long as it's not more than 2 or 3. I think my stats are decent but my TEAS definitely brings me down. When I first took the TEAS I was attempting to get into a private for LVN which all I needed was a 62% so didn't apply myself as I should have. I had no idea most nursing schools only allow 2 attempts to take it or I 100% would have done it differently but you live and you learn ig ??‍♀️ For the programs I applied to I've had a MCS of anywhere between 68-87 it really just depends on their grading rubric but I've learned that TEAS score really affects it heavily! Didn't really think I would get accepted anywhere this round until I fix my TEAS but I applied just in case for those schools that use the lottery heavily.
  6. anyone here trying for any other programs? I'm still waiting to hear back from merced college, mjc, and city college of sf. I basically applied everywhere within a 2 hour radius from me but have already been rejected from sac city, delta, and now fcc
  7. anyone receive any kind of news?
  8. how did your friend find out? is it an email?
  9. I assumed the applications that changed to eligible a couple weeks ago were included in the merit based pull and if it stayed pending then you were included only in the lottery pull and probably wouldn't end up being evaluated unless you were pulled but who knows that's just a guess on my end ??‍♀️ because what would be the point of evaluating all applications when they could have just evaluated the ones that were selected by lottery to make sure they have everything required and what not.
  10. still pending here too ?
  11. I think that's definitely still the case for most of them unfortunately! I just haven't had much luck with any of my surrounding ADN programs so that might be my only choice at this point.
  12. Does anyone know where I can get info about Gurnick's accelerated ADN? The only ADN program I see on the website says it's 23 months long.
