    What does your MDS Coordinator discuss during stand-up meetings? I am the only MDS coordinator at my facility and I honestly don't have anything to add to this meeting. Admissions review current census whole house, then rehab census with # of traditional Medicare and # of managed care. The number of expected admissions that day. Social Worker reviews any expected admissions for the LTC side.

    Hello all, I have been doing MDS for nearly a year now. Can anyone tell me if they have been an MDS nurse but not a department head and then an MDS nurse who is a department head what the difference was? Did you feel you were treated better and respected more as an official department head, or was there no difference?
