Where else did you apply? I applied to UT and TWU but it would be a long time before I hear a yes or no from them.

I finally got my acceptance letter!! I can't wait to get started!!

I called earlier and they are still in the review process and I was told another 1-2 weeks for decisions.

I just asked if I had got in as others had received acceptance and waitlist notifications and I had received nothing and no changes had occurred in MyStar. Whoever answered transferred me to someone else who told me of my rejection. She then went over a few things with me and told me to re-apply. My rejection letter did not come for another two weeks after I made that call. It's still early so I wouldn't call just yet.

I have no idea but I'm going to find out on Monday. I called last time and they told me of my rejection for Fall 2023 before there was any update in MyStar.

Whether I was accepted or not. My husband made officer and he is trying to choose orders and it is all dependent on whether I got in or not that he will choose accompanied for us to go with him or unaccompanied so we can stay behind. We didn't think decisions would take this long but I also didn't know they pushed the deadline until just recently.

Nope...just me specifically when I mentioned about not hearing anything yesterday.

One because my in-law teaches there as well as being on the board for the nursing school, which I did not know she was. Two because my spouse is military....there is a concern about having to PCS during the program as well as having a Houston and San Diego address. They are questioning where I live a majority of the time. Given all of that, I'll be surprised if I get accepted. She told me to call on Monday.

She said yes, the acceptance letters can go out in waves but that's not always the case. She said next week based on the update in MyStar followed by waitlist the following week followed by rejection letters. She said the acceptance letters may go out over the course of the week not all in one day. She prepared me that I may not get in as I have two negatives against me but they are factors I can't control. ?

I messaged her but she's gone to sleep. I'm sure I'll hear from her tomorrow morning. I'm also wondering if that may be the issue because she does teach at the UTMB SON as a clinical instructor.

No volunteer work but I've been working as a surgical assistant, teaching undergrad health science courses, and working as a nursing clinical coordinator for over 10 years. I have a B.S. and M.S. in Health Science. I thought I was good on the resume front and I got the thumbs up on my personal statement from several people at UTMB. I don't know what I could be missing. I have a B.S. and M.S. in Health Science.

I have the same stats as someone that just got admitted so I don't know at this point. I checked MyStar earlier today and it still says active and complete.

I had a 92.9% on my TEAS and I haven't heard anything.

Unfortunately no. She can't do too much prying and asking questions since we are technically related and they know I applied.

I just asked my mom in law that works at UTMB and she says it's a new thing meant to let students know that they are working on their applications. It's also meant to kinda keep you from applying multiple places and keep UTMB at the top of your list. She said it is still a good sign that you are being considered.

Same here so it caught me off-guard. I don't know if that means something or not.

Oh I know! Someone said by the end of the week maybe for the first round of acceptance letters based on past threads. I thought it might be mid-August. We just have to hang in there....we are so close!!

Did anyone else get an email yesterday saying their application is under review from UTMB?
