California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) ABSN Summer 2024
I think they might be overstating. It's definitely a little scrappy, but I think it's well-organized. We get all the credits and clinical hours we need, and then some. The clinical sites and the experience we get are fantastic. Most of the instructors are really good. It's an accelerated program so it's sort of necessarily wacky, on a structural level, I'm not sure it could be otherwise, but I wouldn't say it isn't well organized.

California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) ABSN Summer 2024
Looking back over the initial emails--the interview offer was very straight forward, came through for me at the beginning of March. Just a sort of polite message saying (in more formal words) you seem like a good candidate, and there's a link to choose from a bunch of time slots for a Zoom interview. I wasn't given a sample and I don't recall anyone else getting sample questions. The interview was generic in some ways, but they asked some curveballs for sure. I can't remember them all, but some of the questions I remember them asking: why go into nursing? What do you feel will be your greatest contribution to the world of nursing? How do you plan to cope with the stress of an accelerated program? Some of the curveballs had more to do with logistics than anything: how difficult will commuting to class and clinical be for you? I can't guarantee the questions will be the same, but those were what they asked me. Good luck!
