how & where do i obtain cna certification
One of the things that our college had built in was after your first semester of nursing program you were given a cna certificate, but there was a test to take. The high school here is also doing a cna class for those interested of course this is Idaho. I guess maybe your best bet may be to talk to the nursing homes, maybe the hospital, or other cnas.

Interviewing for the 2nd time
I first interviewed back in November, I graduate in May, earlier this week I got called to interview again for the same floor. Obviously the first time they didn't hire said that they were still looking. Could anyone give me some advice on this interviewing thing. I hate the questions of your weaknesses and strenghts and why should we hire you. I have a hard time bragging myself up. So any comments would be appreciated. I interview on the 8th for the second time same people.

The travelling nurse
Thanks for your replies. I too found it hard to believe the pay for this person I had mentioned. That is why I threw the question out to a wider audience. Thanks again

The travelling nurse
I am a nursing student and I'm in the last semester of school. Right now I am doing my precepting at the local hospital, it has been fun and interesting. One of the things that is required of me is to post a question that I have and get some feed back on it. One of the things that I am curious about is the travelling nurse. I know a person that does this every third or so weekend and she makes a lot of money for this. I guess I don't understand why these places are so willing to pay upwards of $100/hr when there are nurses there or is the shortage that great?
