  1. Just received my acceptance email however my status changed to "recommended by department" a week ago.
  2. Yes! My last name is R! I also haven't received an official email.
  3. I also just got the update that I'm provisionally admitted!
  4. I emailed and they said essentially that once it has updated to "recommended by department" it then is sent away to admissions and things can be slow on their end especially if you have attended many post secondary schools. I've been to 7 so I think that's why mines taking a long time? Or that's what I'm telling myself.
  5. Me and you both...it's painful.
  6. I am in the regular stream
  7. Mine still says recommended by department
  8. No I didn't get an email when it changed! I just happened to check and it said "recommended by department" where as before it said "under review" or something like that. Someone asked me earlier in the thread if I would be choosing UNBC or UVic. Given that this status change means I am potentially accepted to UVic, I will be giving up my spot at UNBC if that's the case!
  9. I also was accepted!
  10. Hi Helena, Im not sure if this will calm your nerves or not but I was accepted to TRU (made it off the wait list and have declined) and UNBC (which I accepted) and still haven't heard from UBC or UVic if that makes any sense at all...seems random to me. UVic will be next week or the week after. I was waitlisted 2 years ago for UVic on st patricks day so its usually mid march
  11. I do feel like it is automated because I got my UNBC acceptance at 0130 in the morning.
  12. I have made a facebook group for those attending to UNBC if you wish to join, it might be an easier way to ask questions. Its called UNBC FNP 2026-2028
  13. Was not asked to pay a deposit. More information is to come they say! I will let you know where I hear about next steps.
  14. I am so sorry to hear this. I have been in your shoes...twice. I understand how this feels. All I can say is keep trying! It will happen for you!
  15. It just said to check the applicant dashboard
  16. They came in waves last year! Fingers crossed for you
  17. I am also in....3 years of trying! Accepted my UNBC offer this morning!
  18. Where did you get the notification? Congrats!!
  19. do we think that we will hear from ubc this week?
  20. My guess is the first 2 weeks of March for UBC, UNBC, and UVic. I'm just going off of old forums and when I heard about being waitlisted by UVic 3 years ago!
  21. That's how it has been for the last 2 years so I'm thinking it will be the same this year!
  22. I could be wrong but I don't think there are interviews anymore.
  23. I just got my waitlist email. I'm sorry to everyone who has been rejected. Keep trying!! This is my 3rd year applying!
  24. How many seats for UBC, UVic and UNBC?
  25. My guess is next week!!
