I know they made it complicated for sure. But I believe the program will be good as their reputation. PCC has connection with APU which is great because you can get your BSN at the time when you graduate PCC. It is definitely time efficient. Pcc offers collaborative program with CSULA, and also CSUN ( I remember there were more school listed) which I think it's good opportunity.

I would choose closer location. For me I had no option to choose so I accepted offer from PCC. I think most of ADN program will be similar. Since our eventual goal is to pass NCLEX and be a nurse, all the program is designed for training students for NCLEX.

Yes for PCC!! I was accepted with 87 points. For the BLS cert you can search on Google, AHA BLS near me.

Hello, I got offer for ADN program few days ago so I withdrawled my spot

Maybe it's little too early too make facebook page cuz we still have couple days left to send intent form. Since someone is withdrawling the spot you really have high chance to get in!! Always remain hopeful. Thought you already have a offer from ELAC, are you willing to choose PCC if you get offer?

Anyone who had submitted the intent form, did you get any confirmation after that? Can you let me know when you receive those? I need to withdrawl my lvn spots so Im little confused now...

I even found out they cancelled all the workshops for ADN and lvn-ADN career ladder program. It's really unusual this year and probably selecting student for fall 2023 is already overwhelming for them.., they couldn't proceed next cycle's workshop.

I think they have some problem in applications. Website had a problem so app was opened 4 days later. Even in the workshop, I remember one instructor was going over the applications and she was saying the last part(selecting G.E option) wasnt updated or sth...and there were some students complaining they couldnt hear back anything from the department on last cycle. I was expecting to hear back soon because they released result for their lvn program.., but now I feel like something is going wrong on their admission process so I accepted my offer for lvn yesterday.

Im so sad because I just wanted to get in any of program, and I was planning to move near ELAC.., so I was putting that school on the first option. If I knew ELAC will release their result way earlier and starting orientation I would have at least tried?? I didn't even applied during app cycle so I don't think it's negotiable. Since pcc allows student to apply their ADN and lvn both from this year, I did got an offer from their LVN program last week Thursday, I'm still thinking to try for ELAC on 2024 Spring semester.. According to previous cycle, after pcc release LVN acception they will also send out ADN letters really soon. So I'm expecting results will be on next week.

Hope I would also have a options to choose. I wanted to go ELAC. But I screwed up my TEAS on first attempt so I took second one 2weeks later. I got around 87 but I found out most of school accepts first attempt. Some they does, but second exam should be taken after 365 days from the first exam date. Since PCC is the only school accepting multiple attempt for TEAS.., no option for me?

Recent two years for fall semester app, they had told students until end of May. And this time its going way too slow. When I attend online workshop(?) I did remember some students complaining that they applied last cycle, but hadn't got any emails. As I know they should send out emails even it's denial. In allnurses previous thread, I also saw one student couldn't hear back anything even she had high scores, so I think they do have flaws on the app systems.

No not yet.., can I ask your stats? I got all A for pre-reqs and also have active CNA cert/license. So I'm expecting at least getting an alternative position for this program. Please let me know if u get any emails. I will also do the samw if I get emails.

Please let me know when you receive anything from school. Since waiting timeline is longer than I expected, I start to worry about made an mistake on application or forgot to press submit button . I know its hilarious but I already wrote a book in my head with full of worse scenarios..?
