  1. Something isn't right. I'd check your spam. going to USF for their DNP program! starting in the fall.
  2. I just think it's WILD that they only accept like 10 applicants per program. That seems like such a minuscule amount in comparison to the volume of applications they must receive.
  3. Wow! That is NOTHING. LOL I thought more too. I wonder how much for the AGACNP...
  4. I wonder why they bypassed this week all together.. Why not do another round of decisions this week? Or its really because they want the first round of acceptancees to either accept or deny their offering so they can get a truer picture of just how full their programs will be, so they know how many positions they have to acceptance. Does that make sense? If they have until 04/06 that HAS to be what it is I think...
  5. Thank you!!! that does make me feel better! @CVCUgatorRN no acceptance.. but no denial either!! LOL the way I see it we're doing pretty good LOL
  6. My UF application was submitted on 12/18/2022. I think my last reference was received 01/03/23 for NursingCAS.
  7. Uhoh... LOL there goes our theory.. but maybe its just in batches...?
  8. @tiffanyjwrn So from my friends post, it looks like it came from the "University of Florida" and the subject line said "University of Florida College of Nursing BSN to DNP Program Admission Decision". That was yesterday at 4:15pm
  9. @Luckycharm1025 CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN! That is so awesome. ? I'm confident in my GPA, it's more of the extra stuff. I wish I would have taken on or mentioned more of projects like that. Good thinking! Though I was a patient at UF Shands and had a life altering surgery there, I mentioned being on both sides of care- so maybe that will help me! LOL
  10. @Nurse Grace876 I just checked too! It says received! Bleh. I just noticed my residency for tuition still says undetermined... I sumbitted that like forever ago, in December. LOL I wonder why that's taking so long ?
  11. @Nurse Grace876 I feel the same way. The NCLEX. I did the method where you try to re-register and if it lets you, the idea is that you didn't pass.. LOL atleast I got some hope from that, though I don't know just how accurate it is. Made me feel better anyway LOL
  12. MY SISTER SAID THE SAME THING TO ME THIS MORNING. The girl I know that got her acceptance into the AGACNP program, her last name starts with B. my last name also starts with S!
  13. You are so encouraging! And just what I need on this day. LOL thank you!! ❤️ @JennaRN01 truthfully, definitely wish I would've done more digging before applying. I thought it was more like you sign up and make the commitment for school and that's it, like I did with my associates, then, my bachelors. Not realizing that there was a potential for such a letdown. And then when it was said and done and I already applied I wished I would've put more effort and strategy into my responses. Or picked a different program to apply for... I work in nephrology, mainly in Dialysis, of all settings. Peritoneal, home hemo, chronic hemodialysis, acute kidney injury, etc. Before applying to the AGACNP I asked the program director if I was even suitable for FNP and Mailing said they suggested AGACNP with my specialty. Then I was reading all of these post that you have to have one year of actual ICU/critical care to even get considered. Dialysis is and can be critical but it's specific and not actually critical care managing the various disease processes. I looked everywhere trying to find that in UF and it doesn't mention it like it did on the USF requirements (that I just saw lastnight btw) LOL now I'm like, did I just waste my application on a program that I would not even get considered for? And kind of put myself in a position to be let down because I should've looked into it more. Or is there actually a chance for me.. LOL Sorry to dump on you guys.. I'm just stressed and treating this post like a diary. LOL Listen, we're not out till we're out! ?❤️
  14. ? Congratulations! It's looking like a no-go for us that didn't get an answer yet. LOL I hope I'm wrong, but I've been racking my brain for weeks trying to crack this code and the only thing that seems consistent is the acceptances go out the first day and denials the next. Super regretful I didn't apply to another school and program! Gah! Maybe I'm wrong.. but dear future reader.. if you're like me.. looking for hope or guidance during your many days and weeks wondering and awaiting the decision.. stay tuned. LOL If we get denials tomorrow that'll be 3 years in a row that it worked out that way.. acceptances day one, denials day two.
  15. I wish they would just send them all out in one sitting so there was no waiting. LOL And everyone got their answer all at the same time.
  16. @JennaRN01 yes, today at 4:51p. I applied to the AGACNP program full time. I didn't think it was as competitive at the FNP, but then I was hearing you need a year of CC nursing, but it didn't specify that at UF... so who really knows what my fate will be. LOL hopefully we all hear something back soon.
  17. Same. I also applied to FT AGACNP. That's a good mindset to have. If it doesn't work out, it wasn't meant to be.
  18. I know someone who got an email for acceptance for full time AGNP... I have a feeling like the approvals go out and then the denials... ugh it's hard to be optimistic LOL
  19. I am in the same exact mindset! if it really is the first few days of April, like between the first and the third, I will be ecstatic LOL
  20. Hopefully any day now guys!!! I've mentally prepared myself to move on after re-reading my responses. LOL I could've don't much better. It would be awesome and I have a sliver of hope that they're just weren't a ton of applicants and they accept me anyway hahah but I will come back and let you guys know forsure whatever my fate is! LOL hoping to hear from them and you guys soon! ?
  21. I feel like my answers weren't thorough enough ? I wish I could add more. I answered the questions to the point and was more or less really straight forward. In like 200-250 words.. I wish there was a rubric to follow or something. LOL
  22. That makes sense! I wonder how many applicants there were. I know the fall of 21 there were just so many. Fingers crossed that we hear something soon. And in my head early April means April FIRST LOL lets hope ? I'm trying to be optimistic, but also trying to like mentally prepare myself.
  23. Hi guys! Do any of you happen to know what the acceptance rate is? I am getting so anxious trying to patiently wait...
