I am curious if the CRNA program offers academic out-of-state tuition waivers like the medical school does at UTHSCSA? Obviously, non-resident tuition is about 200k for the program so big difference. Reviving a dead thread here but couple of questions. I'm considering working for a few years at a level 1 trauma center and then applying to a VA ICU RN job and applying to this program after a couple of years. Is it possible to get accepted into this program with only a couple of years of VA experience as an employee who is not a veteran? Just curious how competitive this is and if it's only given to more senior VA employees? Thank you!

I believe I had about a 3.8 overall and a 3.9 prerequisite GPA. I wouldn't be discouraged from applying though if your GPA isn't the greatest. I believe they recommend a 3.3 to apply but there is no minimum. Good luck!
