  1. Is CDI still a good field to purse?

    Hello, Do you think that the CDI field is still a good career to transition into? I've been doing some research and it sounds like a good fit for me and something I'll be interested in. However, I've seen people say it's a hard field to get into without experience. I'm currently a RN of 7 years with most of my experience in ambulatory setting and some experience in LTC. Can anyone share their views on the CDI field such as what you did to get there and if the transition has been worthwhile. Any pointers and tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
