  1. You Wish posted a topic in Texas Nursing
I am a nurse at a county hospital. I've been there 13 years without incident. I was accused of giving a patient the wrong medication and put on unpaid leave while they investigate. I do not believe the patient was harmed, but they won't tell me. I met with my manager and HR. I was told an investigation would take up to 10 business days. I asked what medication I was accused of giving incorrectly and was told I could not be given that information. I am being accused and investigated without knowing what medication, or patient, they are referring to. I have never been written up. Always in good standing. What should I do? I am so fearful to lose my license. Thank you, K
