So follow up to my comments from earlier, for this Fall 2023, my application score was good enough for my first choice (Montgomery). For everyone else that got letters regarding being an alternate: The letters gave a deadline for people who got accepted to submit letter of intent by May 5th or they forfeit their spots. They also have to attend a mandatory orientation or else they also forfeit their spots. When I was filling out my letter of intent form, it had an option for accepting Montgomery or Tomball (my second choice). So I'm going to guess I got tentatively accepted to both campuses. Refusing others and accepting Montgomery might have pushed someone on alternate list into the program. So congrats to everyone who got in. To everyone that got listed as an alternate, hang in there!

This is the exact score sheet, straight from the online application page. Your grade in BIOL 2401 or 2402 (A = 4, B = 3, etc) + grade in ENGL 1301 is added together and divided by 2. These are your HESI sections in the second part of the score. Each section is out of 100, except for Critical Thinking, which is out of 1000. Add them together and then divide by 25. Then by 5 (for each section) to get your score for part 2. Add part 1 and 2 together with highest possible score being out of 8. Example - 4 + 3.345 = 7.345 out of 8 If 2 people happen to have identical scores, they look at the critical thinking score to decide. Side note! TCR (Transfer Credits) for English make your score in part 1 completely reliant on your A&P grade/score.
