  1. NCLEX eligibility

    So I am currently attending a direct entry program in Wisconsin. I have completed my BSN portion of the program and I am currently finishing up my MSN portion. I took this one course that needed to be completed to be supposedly eligible to take the NCLEX and I successfully completed it. Once I applied with the school to take my exam they denied my application because I didn't complete all of my semester 4/5 courses. I am currently only taking ONE semester 4 course with some semester 5 courses. However, I fully completed my BSN portion of my degree a few months ago. Does anyone know any of the legal requirements to take the NCLEX? Can my school withhold me from taking the licensure exam even if my BSN portion is completed? This is the first time I have heard of this rule and I cannot find anything in our handbooks in regard to anything NCLEX related. I am super frustrated because I am part-time and have more than enough time to take my NCLEX. My program is fairly new and they change their "rules" quite often.
