  1. We received official acceptance in october 2023! I would ask the educational advisor to get the best approximation for your result ?
  2. Hello all, just to be clear: if you get into the list of alternates, I would encourage you to still attend boot camp and intake days (which was on dec. 8th). Doing all that is required will guarantee you a spot into the fall cohort per the enrollment and evaluation specialists.
  3. Tomorrow, the 31st IS indeed the LAST day to APPLY for Fall '24! Friendly reminder.
  4. From the educational advisor: the cut-off for the trad ADN was 77, cut-off for the CEP ADN was 71 points
  5. So for anyone in alternate list, I have some very encouraging news... I contacted one of the enrollment and evaluation specialists and they said: "The alternate list is chosen based on those students who didn't quite make it to full conditional acceptance. Unfortunately, we are unable to discuss placement on the alternate list, however, we do have a new policy in place, that any alternate who does everything they need to be eligible for their cohort, if they are not selected, we will guarantee their placement in the next. So, either way you will be getting into the program, we just won't know when until (at the latest) the beginning of the current cohort (I.e. Fall). " SO DO ALL YOU NEED TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS COHORT AND IF YOU don't GET IN NOW, YOU WILL BE GUARANTEED PLACEMENT IN THE NEXT!
  6. Check your emails guys!! Traditional ADN acceptances have come out for some people
  7. For any applicants with good news or bad, please, keep us in the loop!! ?
  8. Just want to relay the information: if we get accepted to both traditional ADN & CEP, we only need to do one set of background checks and drug screens! Per educational advisor
  9. If we applied to both the CEP and traditional ADN program, do we have to do 2 background checks, drug screens, etc.?
  10. Having +80 points is pretty much a guarantee -- there's never been a cutoff at 80 points. The cutoff was 76 last year, but that was the highest it's ever been. If you ask RCC nursing school, the cutoff has usually been in the low 70s (70-74).
  11. I'm pretty sure it's 40 acceptances. IDK how many alternates there are. CEP had 290s applicants, and the Traditional ADN had same number of applicants as well
  12. Starling82, I applied with 90 pts. I was told by one enrollment specialist that the CEP cutoff was 71 points. One of the other specialists told me that the cutoff was 73 points.
  13. I got in! ? gonna start on complio and stuff...
  14. Hang tight everyone! CEP results should be coming tmrw
  15. I went to the SON application workshop and asked the educational advisor!
  16. Regardless of GPA, if your points are above the cutoff, then you would be accepted into CEP program.
  17. I'd be so surprised if the cutoff was 80 or mid 70s even. I heard that the cutoff for CEP ended up as 70, the traditional ADN cutoff is still being measured. We'll find out the official cutoffs for both traditional ADN and ADN/BSN CEP in October. Stay strong everyone! Outdid myself -- 90 pts
  18. For those of us who submitted a CEP app, acceptance/rejection letters should come to us in October -- 2 more weeks!!
  19. Hi all! As of now, we're all waiting on our application and should be getting word of acceptance/rejection in October for CEP applicants, November for traditional applicants. For those who are studying to take the TEAS, remember you have until September 8th! That is the deadline to submit your TEAS. Also, I have been told that if you are invited to take the TEAS with RCC, rest assured knowing that it will be sent automatically to RCC. As for studying for the TEAS, it would be remiss of me if I didn't encourage you to do practice questions. Practice questions, practice questions, practice questions! The most helpful testing resource was practice tests A and B from ATI. There's a fee to access the practice tests, but they are 100% worth it as it may dramatically bolster your prep for test day. I can confirm that this was the case for me!! Let me know if you have any questions!
  20. Oh we find out our scores as soon as we finish. Thank you ?
  21. Took the TEAS today at RCC. Do you guys know when we can expect to find out if we got in or not?
  22. That is a good question. When I got my transcripts sent from UCR, I did notice that getting an appointment with a counselor was the best way to know which classes were properly transferred. I also appealed to have a class count as credit at RCC by contacting (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). As an aside from transcripts, (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) has been very helpful for my concerns and questions so I recommend contacting him about the TEAS. Also, maybe entering RCC TEAS is the best option when enrolling on the ATItesting website.
  23. Haha we all strive for +90 but I think you can rest assured. I know a friend that was accepted as an alternate and she had 68 points ? And the cutoff for fall '23 was 70!! In my mind, I'm just thinking that as long as I'm 1 point above the cutoff then I'm no different from the person that has 100 points
  24. Awesome! An 87 on the TEAS is impressive, what did you do to score well?
