I was not interviewed, and I was accepted into the FNP program. I have already declined though because I didn't get any kind of scholarship money, so hopefully that will free up a spot for someone else! I accepted my spot at Vanderbilt, which was my first choice anyway.

I got my last recommendation letter in on November 24th so that's when my application was complete. I received my admissions decision on February 3rd.

Thanks y'all! They must be doing them in batches. I emailed the admissions office last week and they said I would hear before the end of February so hopefully not much longer to wait!

I noticed an hour or so ago that the "your application is under review" text went away, and just a few minutes ago got an email that there was an update to my application. I got in! Fingers crossed for good news for all of y'all coming your way!

Hi y'all! I don't know who else applied part time OMTA for FNP after the priority deadline but I did and just got my acceptance! I got an email saying there was an update to my admission status and when I went to check it said I was admitted! Still waiting to hear from Duke and Georgetown so I'm hoping to hear back from them before the Vanderbilt acceptance deadline in March. Vandy is my top choice but it has the fewest funding options for me so I have to wait and see if I get in anywhere else!

My status finally says "your application is complete and is currently under faculty review.” Phew! That's a relief. So they must be updating the statuses as they start reviewing.

My application still only says "Thank you for applying..." with nothing underneath, though I got all my application materials in and submitted before the priority deadline. I'm hoping it just means that they mark them as "under review" when they actually start reviewing your application, so they likely have just not gotten to mine yet. Hopefully that's the case! I know I got everything in on time so I can't think of another reason for it.

I also applied for the Duke FNP program for fall 2026! I've applied to two other schools as well. I've only got about a year and a half as an RN working in primary care after a career change, but I've got a 3.9 GPA in my BSN, 4.0 in all my prereqs, a bunch of volunteer experience, and have only worked at FQHCs since I've been in healthcare (was an MA for a year before nursing school as well). I also applied at the end of November, after the priority deadline had passed, so I'm not expecting to hear anything until January or February based on what I learned from the admissions office. I have a year and a half as a primary care RN under my belt with a year of working as an MA before that, all at FQHCs. 3.9 GPA in my BSN and a fair bit of various volunteer work, as well as some student government stuff while in my BSN program. I'm a career changer with a previous degree in art. I applied part time OMTA for the FNP MSN program. Vandy is my first choice school, particularly because of their CAP program, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a positive result early next year! Good luck to everyone!

Just had my interview for the FNP portion of the ABSN -> FNP program application. It was just fine! Anyone stressing about it has nothing to worry about. No trick questions or anything particularly hard like that. About to complete my asynchronous assessment for the ABSN portion ?

Got my interview invite for Feb. 6th! ABSN -> FNP in Portland and I'm FREAKING OUT I'm so excited and happy! Good luck to everyone!

I applied to the Portland ABSN -> FNP program and haven't heard anything yet about an interview. I've heard you might get an invite up to a few days before, so I'll be anxiously checking my email all week! If anyone gets an interview, please let us know!
