Hi, I just add the WHNP because of the dual program and the opportunity to get the WHNP certification as well! I didn't see a drop down in the application either, but essentially, we would be considered a Certified Midwife and a Womens Health Nurse Practitioner (at least that is what I was led to believe from the website.) after graduating. Sorry for the confusion!

Hello Everyone, I am a bit late to the group, but I recently got accepted to the U Penn ABSN-MSN program (Nurse Midwifery/ WHNP specialty). I won't know if I will be able to attend until I receive the financial aid information. In reference to the above comment, I had heard that PRNs will require a DNP for licensure but I didn't know the date. Did anyone apply for the Amy Gutman scholarship?
