  1. Need help understanding VA step increases

    ADMRK posted a topic in Government, Military
    I was recently offered a Nurse 1 step 11 to start next month after a VERY lengthy hiring process (I'm a ADN with 14 yrs experience) I thought I had heard that you are given a step increase after your first annual review (if review was good). My local pay scale only goes up to Nurse 1 step 12, what happens after that? No more possible steps unless I get a BSN? I have no current plans to return to school. Thanks
