@Malcolm225 I've read posts on here of new grads being accepted. It also says on the job posting that NGs will have an extended training period. So, Ig we'll c what happens...can't hurt to go for it imo!

I am!! The exact same situation actually. I went ahead and applied for the ICU transition; I don't believe they will rescind the Aug cohort offer. I have my call with the onboarding person Thursday, to schedule my physical etc, so I am going to ask her how it will work if I actually get an offer for the ICU pgm. Either way, we will be colleagues on DEU or ICU?

Does anyone know someone who has been thru the program. Or know of any posts on here that discuss what it's like. I've only found posts like this one that is for all of us applying/interviewing. I'm wondering at the end of the 10 Mos do they place graduates on different units or if we stay on the unit on which we trained? And also if we can work OT?

from what I have heard they sent rejection emails right away to some people, so if you have not been rejected then you're still in the running so don't get discouraged just yet! Also, just FYI the county of San Diego is hiring for psychiatric nurses (& they really need nurses!) and the pay is almost $58 an hour. If you go on Night Shift, it's almost 61. Plus we have eight hours of overtime built-in to every paycheck!

I interviewed the last day, the 18th, n got my offer the 22nd. Don't be discouraged cuz if u haven't rcvd a rejection then you're still in the running!

I Mine was on the 18th w/La Jolla n they also told me this week or next at the latest. my questions were really basic: why you? why Scripps? Etc.
