Hello -- especially to all those who love nursing but struggled through becoming an RN Well my name is Renee'. Right away i was wondering if anyone could help me. I know it sounds desperate but at this point i am. I passed nursing school in 2003 then went on to finish another BA degree so i didn't get around to NCLEX until the end of 2004. Yeah yeah yeah i can hear some of you why didn't i take it in the 6 months but life happens. Anyway I have taken NCLEX since then 3 times all unsuccessfully. I have done Kaplan, i'm doing Saunders now, I have studied by my self and with other, I have used videos, flash cards, computer programs and over multiple books, oh and audio tapes. None of which seems to stick. I can talk, it I understand it, I just can pass the test! Anyway I know this is some introduction but i am heart broken this is my calling i know and i will not give up. I plan on taking it again soon but i'm scared because my numbers on the practice exams (the total %) are still way below where they are suppose to be. Any suggestions, tips, prayers would be welcomed. Sorry for this introduction it normally isn't my style--- heart broken in MI (please while i know some of you mean well if you are going to tell me to give up please don't write -- you can not change what you were meant to be even if the road getting there is long and hard; thanks for understanding)
