  1. Adult ICU to Pediatric IMC - HELP! Hi! So I am currently working in an adult ICU, really pulmonary focused, but I just accepted a job in a pediatric IMC. My goal eventually is to transition to PICU, but I feel like I do not have that skill set as of yet. I will be a nurse for a full year once I start in the PIMC. My questions are - how do I prepare for the transition not only to pediatrics, but to an intermediate care unit? The increased patient load, change of time management load, and not using my ICU skills that I love (drips, ventilators) on a daily basis! looking for anyone who has gone through a similar transition! and if you have any pediatric book suggestions that can help. I love reading up on things!
