79 is acceptable. My understanding is acceptance is pretty simple, but your start date may be affected by your clinical location. For example, Dallas and Houston are metro areas and a lot of students pick those sites, so their start dates may be delayed or have to go through a more tedious selection, versus areas that aren't saturated. Your admissions counselor can give you the full run down, I had Ash and she was great, answered all my questions (and I had a ton). I have my LVN as well, and my AS, but keep in mind that your LVN classes do not transfer. Only pre reqs..

Hey y'all! Im starting a Lufkin cohort for WGU BSN Prelicensure. I am admitted to the program, due to start 6/1. If anyone is in the same or similar boat, I would love to connect! Im currently a LVN and have learned that nursing school survival is easier with studybuddies. I don't know what to fully expect from WGU, considering it's a fully online program but it would be cool to see y'all at clinicals:)

Yes! I called today and had them send it to me. They said placement emails will go out tomorrow after 5pm so if you don't receive anything by Wednesday, call them so they can send it to you.

When did you get it sent to you? I called last Thursday and they didn't send me anything. I'm calling again tomorrow, I'm worried my app fell through the cracks and isn't being considered.

Anyone else apply for LVN-RN transition at Tyler JC for Fall 2023? They had a glitch during the admission period so they had me email my application, but I haven't gotten an app summary (supposed to be sent 3/10) and now the supposed placement notifications are coming out 3/28. Is anyone else having this issue?
