I didn't know they did that, I didn't have that. I'm still waiting to schedule my financial review and get me set up to start the drug screen/background process. I am starting in January for the Sacramento campus. You're applying for the January start date for Sac too right?

still no answer......?? I still think you have a pretty good chance of getting in. As long as you explained your GPA in your paper and show them who you are as a person, I think you have a solid chance. What's a "soft transfer"?

Hey, Yes, I got the HESI done on September 23. Overall my application wasn't ready until October 5th or something like that.. and was reviewed on the 7th. IDK why they pushed my application through yesterday. My advisor emailed me yesterday saying that "we won't know the decision until after next week".. I emailed her back asking if my application was even reviewed on the 7th.... she emailed me at 3 pm or something like that saying "actually we were able to push your application through today, congrats on getting in, I sent over some documents to sign, reach out to me next Friday to schedule you financial stuff".. That's basically what happened. I hope someone reaches out to you! I would just email again, if you don't hear back by 4:45 just call again.

Soooo something weird happened today. I went to class and I randomly get an email that my application was reviewed and pushed through and that I got in! They'll be reaching out in a few weeks for more paperwork and all that. Wow, do they know how to play with my emotions!

I'm sure they'll guide you through it especially since you are starting next month! Will you be coming back to Sacramento once you're done?

Whaaaaaat...... wow...... I am so sorry! I really hope the advisor submits your application asap. I cannot believe it. I have never experienced this before. It's all such a mess!

I have no idea what non-November means.... makes no sense to me. What's happening in November that is causing them to be so behind? Like I just need an answer! Did I get in or not??? I emailed her back asking what that means and if they even reviewed my application but just don't want to make a decision until later?? IDK.. doubt she'll reply but if she does I'll let you guys know. If you guys want to call, then call. Because this is ridiculous and makes no sense. They say one thing and do something completely different. Also if you do call let me know what they say, maybe someone will give you a better answer than what I was given.

"It is still sitting in Pending. The registrar’s office, Financial Aid office, and Academics office have put all non November requests on hold. Hopefully they will be able to proceed after next week." The email I just received......

I totally understand. But I've been really patient and I'm not given a response at all so I think I will call. Where should I call? Just my admission advisor?

Its Thursday and I still haven't heard back.....

I was told they meet every Friday. So hopefully your application gets reviewed this week! But your advisor should let you know when your application is going to be submitted and reviewed for sure.

I was told to submit it to the same email as we used to submit our unofficial transcripts. ([email protected]) That's where I submitted mine. The advisor said "it's easier that way and it all goes to the same place anyways" Hope that helps. Gosh I am so sorry... I don't know why they're being like this. Maybe give it a couple of days?

Me too! I was reading in earlier posts that spots usually fill up by October. I really hope that's not the case and we're still considered early applicants... If admissions advisers know that spots fill up, then why submit more applications just to disappoint their students and have them wait and pray if there's no chance, not because they're not academically eligible but because there are literally no more spots? IDK.. hope that's not the case and we still have a fair chance.

Hi! I'm new to this conversation! Congrats to those who got in. I'm also applying to Chamberlain for Jan 2023, my stats are 3.48 GPA and 91% HESI. I've been applying since Spring 2020, but I've been taking classes at a local community college while applying (thought I'd take the rest of the classes at Chamberlain if I got in). But I obviously didn't and I'm officially done with all my prerequisites this semester, so I'm really hoping I get in this round. I was supposed to have my application reviewed last week but apparently, they were evaluating one of my transcripts so hopefully, I get a response next week!
