Did anyone take the skills evaluation yet? Are they going to email us about the transition course?

Hey! just checking in... did anyone hear about making it to the skills validation in Spring?

I thought I read it will be on Peds and OB. It’s so broad on what we have to study. I’m just grateful I made it to the next stage LOL

Hi have any of you LVNs out there heard anything about Cerritos college's LVN to RN program? I heard it was a 3-5 semester wait, but they don't tell you what place you are on the waitlist.

I saw that, I looked at the NLN website and it is the PACE test which is an advanced placement test for LVNs. I'm sure you can find practice questions online for free so you don't have to spend all this money on a program that might not even accept us.

They said end of October, so one more week at least.

Nice! hopefully your net catches some bites. Where did you apply out of state? I got approved to start testing into cypress' program, but its a 6 month process. You have to take 2 entrance exam quizzes plus the TEAS, a skill evaluation in the Spring and a transition class in the Summer and after that, then they take you as space becomes available. LOL its exhausting But LBCC won't have their bridge program this year and may not even have it next year

Lilidee! that's awful ? I feel like they should accept you just for that mistake. I hope you get into a program soon!

yeah I have to sign up by October 19th.

That's really sad for those students who dropped out ? But really do hope they accept a large amount of LVNs. I wish they had a group of just LVNs with a program designed for them because it will help the success of the student and help get more nurses out there.

Hi! I recently applies to cypress college lento RN and heard that they will be sending out invitations to test into the bridge by the end of September. Has anyone hear back? Or have any other information?

Hi! Has anyone applied to Rio Hondo college for this upcoming Spring '22 cohort? Does any know how long it takes the college to process applications?
