I currently live outside of the city and plan to commute in. FB Marketplace is a good place to look for housing - so many people looking for roommates and usually can avoid a broker's fee. Cambridge, Somerville, Charlestown, East Boston, Winthrop are good places to look if you want something nearby. Another consideration could be living somewhere on the MBTA Commuter line (what I am doing). It is a bit further but usually cheaper!

OK this is what I thought but I spoke to someone from the HRSA and they said I must be in the APRN portion of the program which makes no sense to me given what is outlined in their eligibility criteria. Maybe I will just try to apply anyway?

I didn't realize you already had to be an RN to be considered for this scholarship? Is this true?

Yes I also got this - it seemed to work on my phone? Also does anyone know if we are able to apply if we have federal loans for undergrad? I have always paid them, but I wasn't sure if this counted as outstanding federal debt or liens?

I know that the Nursing Corps Scholarship just opened. I was wondering what the difference between this scholarship and the NHSC scholarship is?

Got an email this morning that I did not get the community scholars scholarship. congrats to everyone who did!!

FYI I got an email from admissions that community scholars decisions will be posted in the next 1-2 days (I reached out)

I thought it was roughly 156k but not sure where I got that number either

Does anyone know if we will be notified if we did not receive the community scholars scholarship, or just if we DO get it?

I think it's a little over 100? I know for Psych specialty they said they admit ~18-22 students

Boston College sent out their decisions last night when they originally told me early-mid Feb so maybe that will help ensure they will send theirs along as well? Who knows

I am also likely going to go to a different school if I do not get substantial merit aid or the community scholars scholarship. STILL, I am just so ready to have a decision made so I can fully get excited for whatever school I decide. I remember hearing that we would find out about the community scholarship in our letter of admission; can anyone verify this?
