Just want to put this out here for anyone interested in the BADNAP program at OCCC. Do your due deligence and make sure ALL your ducks are in a row when applying! I had one transcript that could only be sent by mail. I have the email saying it was sent, but I didn't realize that OCCC had never received it. Apparently, it was lost in the mail! Therefore, my application was ineligible and it was too late to do anything about it! That being said, it's on you to make sure they have everything! Your advisor may or may not catch it, so applicant beware! I'm not giving up and will apply again for Fall 2023. At least I will be Tier 1 this time! Good luck everyone for Spring 2023!

Found out my application was ineligible because I'm supposedly missing transcripts. Someone messed up! I had all my transcripts sent this Spring! I guess I have a few days to get it figured out....

TEAS score was 83. Sadly, science pulled down my other scores! I took a lot of prerequisites 10+ years ago, so I was rusty, especially in A&P. Unfortunately, they didn't like my History class from my Bachelor's so I'm taking that now and then Government in October. I took Micro and Nutrition this Summer and made A's in those. Hopefully I'll still make the cut! How about you, prereqs done?

I too have applied to the BADNAP program for Spring 2023. I'm honestly not to thrilled with my advisor...I shall not name names! VERY slow to respond to emails; if at all. The electronic application was pretty straight forward, but it would be nice to know if someone will look over it to determine if it was prepared correctly. I would hate for the deadline to pass and found out I didn't get accepted because of a technicality! Anyway, I'm new to allnurses and nursing in general. But I've done enough patient care and childcare to know it'll be a good fit for me. Anxiously, looking forward to the acceptance date? Have you seen anything about when a determination will be made?
