  1. I am going to retake my test in about 6 weeks from now. But you should not use that as a guideline, because it may take you longer or shorter to study so it really depends on the individual. Just make sure that you retake the exam when you feel ready
  2. it really depends what state youre in. in michigan the retake time is 45 days. i think in other states it could up to 90 days. check your board of nursing website. good luck
  3. I agree, if you dont feel comfortable maybe you really should consider taking it later. I already took my exam and did not pass so now I have to go through the pain of taking again--let me tell it is not worth it.

Thank you for all your replies. Will the tears ever stop? I wish I can say that all my family members are supportive. My siblings whom I do not live with are very loving and supportive, but live so far away. My mom and sister whom I live with are not very encouraging. I am not even able to cry in front of them. in the past two days you all have been so kind and understanding. When i do pass i attribute my success to this forum. btw i did fail with 75 ?'s so that only makes me feel worst. I remember reading that someone posted that failure at 75 ?s means that you did very poorly.
  5. I too fail at 75 questions. Trust me I know exactly how you feel. I know that no amount of encouragement will make you feel any better. But try to have the mindset that you WILL PASS the second time around. I am praying that you will pass. Good luck

thanks for your words of encouragement. I have been crying since i found out and i am not the crying type at all. I used hurst review and for questions i used a random assortment ( mosby, sandra's, and saunders 2nd ed.) I dont really think I can face this again ( i have been sick since -ulcer, headache...blah.blah..) I am also jobless. i am currently trying to find a job that does not require a license. I have been out of school since september, i just feel like i have forgotten everything and wont be able to find a job when I do get a job as an RN. I am sorry if my post sound really depressing, but i really need to vent. I really dont want to put my family through this so it's going to be you guys that I am turning to for encouragement.
  7. i just found out that I fail using quick results. I kind of knew it, but was still hoping that I somehow pass. I really dont know how I can start all over again. I was hoping that the computer was wrong. What should I use to study for my second attempt? Please help me. Thanks P.S. the worst part is having to telling my friends and family because they all assumed I pass.
