  1. For those that were selected, if I’m not mistaken, I believe they gave us about a week after the sending out of admission decisions to accept or decline admission to the program.
  2. Here is the link for the facebook group: “Sac State Nursing Class of Fall 2024” https://www.facebook.com/groups/8833772173301256/?ref=share_group_link
  3. I sent you an invite ?
  4. Hi everyone! I've created a facebook group for our class. Just search up "Sac State Nursing Class of Fall 2024".
  5. Thank you!! Are the classes in-person?
  6. Who here have gotten their BLS CPR certificate? Where did you go for the class?
  7. OH MY GOOOSSHHH YAAALLL I GOT IN TOO WITH 71 ! I THOUGHT I WAS TRIPPIN BC I WAS EXPECTING EMAILS WOULD BE SENT OUT AT 5 TODAY WAAAHHH! CONGRATS GUUYYSS!!
  8. Thanks! What was your GPA, if you don’t mind? bc I was wondering if they also rank people that have the same total point according to their GPAs
  9. I just hope cut off point will go down this semester ?
  10. Niicee! Congrats! If it’s okay, may I ask what your statistics was when you applied? Did you have omitted/repeated courses? and what was your TEAS score? Also, what number were you on the alternates list? Thanks!
  11. Thanks! So for the tie-breaker, I know they base the ranking 1st on no omitted courses and 2nd on no repeats. In case 2 people both have no omitted coursed and no repeats, do they go to the 3rd basis which is comparing of the TEAS scores or do they look at who has higher GPA?
  12. Hello! Good job and congrats! You’ll definitely have a spot this time. May I know your stats when you applied last semester? What was your TEAS score and did you have omitted or repeated courses? I have 71 right now and I’m really nervous. It’s unlikely I’ll get in ?
  13. Thank you for your reply! Yeah, I really am so stressed out about my score LOL. And yeah, I saw the cut off points from previous semesters and the tie-breaker policy, which made me feel even more stressed out because I literally had 85.3% on the TEAS, which was only .1% difference from getting another 1 whole point. I could’ve gotten a total point of 72 too. So if I ever don’t get in just because of that .1% difference I’d really hate myself so much LOL. On the “good” side tho, I didn’t have any repeats or omitted courses and have a 4.0 GPA. The only thing I was thinking of again was that, what if the other applicants who also had 71 didn’t have any repeats either? Then that would bring us to comparing TEAS score and I don’t think my score was high enough so :///
  14. Hi! I applied for Spring 2023 with 71 points and I've just been constantly worrying about it because my overall point is like borderline. I was just wondering, were you able to get into the program?
  15. What do you mean 51? Sorry I'm not getting it T.T Ohh that's goodd, yeah I should apply to other schools too. Also, I hope you're able to see this before 11:59 lmao but I was wondering, on that part on the application where it said to "list all schools attended", did you put Sac State? I know it said "attended" but it also said "including Sac State" so I think I was kind of overthinking it. I was hesitating whether or not I should put Sac State (but I came from CC). I was just thinking if they meant to also include Sac State even tho you're still applying or only if you went to Sac State? LOL
  16. Yeahh, I’m still gonna apply but I’m hecka nervouss ?? So for the alternates, for example if the cut off was 73, would people with 72 points only be the ones to get in the alternates list? like people with 71 would alr be denied? or some people with 71 pts can still be in the list? I’m really worried for mine. it sucks too because my score for the TEAS was only .1% difference with the next equivalent point like I would’ve gotten a total of 72 instead, just .1% difference ?? I honestly cannot stop worrying about it and admission decisions isn’t gonna be until 2 months from now so I’m gonna be thinking about it for that long ?
  17. Oohh, okayy, got it now. When I looked at the Application Checklist for Spring 2023 Application tho, on the Nursing website, it said there that last semester’s cut off was 71? I guess then that was maybe outdated? I’m just really nervous because I really wanna get into the program, and I have 71 right now. Would it be okay, if possible, if maybe you ask some of the people in the program if they know what alternates’ points were for Fall 2022? I really appreciate you responding to my comments tjo, thank you so much! Like if people with 71 points were able to get in and not just people with 72 pts?
  18. Also, did you attend any of the application workshops? I wasn't able to TT
  19. When I looked at the Application Checklist, it said "cut off from last semester was 71", but I'm not too sure if it was pertaining to Fall 2022 or not because that checklist page may not be updated. I'm really worried because I have 71. I don't think cut off would get that high tho. You really have a high chance of getting in I believe
  20. Hello! I was just wondering, do you know what the cut off point was for Fall 2022? I'm nervous because I have 71 possible points right now.
  21. Thank you! I just did my last attempt today and got 85.3% lmao. Just .1% and I would've gotten +1 more point for my TEAS points. I have 71 RN if all my documents for optional criteria get approved. Do you, by any chance, know the cut off points from last semester? I'm really getting nervous because on Spring 2021, it was 71, but that was 2 years ago, so I was thinking what if it got higher these past 2 semesters
  22. did you end up taking your last attempt? I just did mine today and if all my documents for optional criteria get approved, I would also apply with 71 points.
  23. Nice! What did you get on the TEAS test? and how did you study for it? I’m taking my last attempt tomorrow and still don’t feel as confident. With 73 points, I think you have a good chance of getting in. Good luck!
  24. How was your experience on your 2nd attempt tho? How was it compared to your first one? I'm kinda nervous for mine.
